Productivity Workshops


CADD Edge has developed productivity workshops to offer the SolidWorks user a way to enhance their knowledge beyond Level I & II training. Rendering Workshop:
The purpose of this workshop is to teach the SolidWorks user the concepts and techniques associated with creating rendered images for electronic and printed media using PhotoWorks rendering software.

Detailing Workshop:
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the experienced SolidWorks user to the concepts and techniques associated with the advanced topics involved in the creation of Detail and Assembly drawings.

Mold Design:
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the experienced SolidWorks user to the concepts and techniques associated with Mold Design in the area of Core and Cavity Creation.

Assembly Workshop:
The purpose of this workshop is to introduce the experienced SolidWorks user to the concepts and techniques associated with Top Down Assembly Modeling.

Sheet Metal:
The purpose of this workshop is to give the SolidWorks user a comprehensive understanding of the sheet metal functionality offered in SolidWorks. Basic sheet metal functionality, creation of forming tools and some advanced modeling options will be covered.

Sketching:
The purpose of this workshop is to deliver the SolidWorks user, a full and comprehensive understanding of the importance of sketching within SolidWorks, including tips and tricks, as well as techniques on how to improve capturing design intent.

Managing Assemblies:
The focus of this topic is to give the user a complete understanding of assembly managing tools, and how these tools are utilized to create and manage top level and sub-assembly components while maximizing system resources. This topic is of particular interest to those who work with large, or multi-component assemblies.

SW Explorer:
The purpose of this workshop is to show the uses of SolidWorks Explorer. The SolidWorks Explorer is a file management tool designed to help you perform such tasks as renaming, replacing, and copying SolidWorks files.
