So we’ve all been there before, you have an existing part and you need to make another version of it but with a different filename. You perform a “Save As” and modify the part to the new specs. Only after that is done, you discover the original part has been mistakenly overwritten and modified while the saved off copy is untouched. What does this mean besides having to explain to your boss how your pc made it through the window? It means you are now adding wasted time repointing file references hoping your assembly doesn’t blow up too much….
